On Sunday we played an acoustic set at the Moritzurg Castle for Jump FM, a radio station in Halle (Germany).

After our performance we were surprised with Gold awards for our album “The Heart Of Everything” selling in excess of 100.000 CDs in Germany. We were very happy of course and want to thank our German fans very much for making this happen, we are very honoured and look forward to see you in person at one of our upcoming tourdates in Germany:

Robert, Sharon and Ruud were at Giel, 3FM earlier today. They talked about The Unforgiving, they’ve played three samples, and played three acoustic songs.
But they also talked about Sharon’s pregnancy. She officially confirmed that it’s a boy! We want to give Sharon, Robert, Within Temptation, friends and family our congratulations. A lot of joy, happiness and care to the upcoming little rocker!

As we know, The Unforgiving will be released on March 25, and worldwide on March 29. The upcoming album will be a concept album with many influences from the eighties. You can hear that in various songs on the album.

After they’ve talked about The Unforgiving and the pregnancy; Robert, Sharon and Ruud performed in a acoustic setting. They’ve performed ‘Faster’, ‘Where is the edge’ and ‘What have you done’. You’ll find the videos below.

Last Monday we played at Holland's Radio 3FM. It was the first time we played Faster and Where Is The Edge acoustic, for those of you who haven't heard or seen it yet, you can check it out here.

TOURING
Festivals in Holland!
As you know we are not able to do a lot of festivals due to Sharon's pregnancy. Therefore, if you want to see us perform this summer, you have 2 options to buy tickets for. First of all Bavaria Open Air, which will take place on August 27th. Another festival we are really looking forward to is Huntenpop, which will take place on August 12th, tickets are on sale now! We will be headlining that day (meaning we'll play longer), you can buy tickets only for that day as well, so if you only want to come and see us play, you can! It will be the first Dutch festival we will be doing in 3(!) years, so it sure is going to be a very special performance. We hope to see you all there!

WITHIN TEMPTATION GOES USA!
Before the European tour starts mid September, we will travel to the USA for a performance at New York's Terminal 5 at Saturday September 10th. The official ticket sales for this event will start Friday, February 18th, but with this special link and code: UNFORGIVING you can buy your tickets NOW!

WT TV REPORT: STRINGS RECORDING

Ok c'est la deuxième fois qu'ils changent un membre non? Anna je te demande Tu es l'une des plus calée!

Alors ca fait plusieurs fois déjà qu'il change de membre. LE line Up original était constitué de Michiel Papenhove, Ivar de Graaf et MArtijn Westerholt. Michiel a été remplacé par plusieur Guitariste avant que Ruud n'accepte définitivement ce role dans WT. Ivar est lui le second batteur de WT mais le premier a juste participé a quelque démo et une ou deux chanson. Ivar est entré dans WT en 1996 et en est partit en 2001. IL fut remplacé par Stephen qui lui a quitté en 2010. MArtijn lui a quitté le groupe peu apres Ivar pour cause de Maladie. Une mononucleose.

The first issue of “The Unforgiving” comic is 98 % complete. It’s a bit surreal cause with every movie, every song and now especially the first part of the story on paper “The Unforgiving” becomes reality more and more…what did we bring to life?!!
One thing is for sure, they’re here to stay and they will spread their wings amongst you like a friend or …!

This issue is called “Penance: part 1″ and will be joined together with the prequel “Perdition”.

Soon the printed issues of “The Unforgiving, Perdition + Penance: part 1″ will start their journey on this earth. YOU will determine the first part of their journey!
