Parcours musical :

Il a commencé son éducation musicale à l'Académie de musique locale, à l'âge de 7 ans, et est diplômé en 1999 en tant que lauréat pour la guitare classique et pour le solfège. Dans l'intervalle, vers 16 ans, il a commencé à jouer de la guitare électrique et il a vite découvert la magie et la liberté de créer avec cet instrument. Dans cet esprit, il a continué ses études à l'Ecole de Musique de Rotterdam, aux Pays-Bas.
C'était l'endroit idéal pour développer ses compétences et de rencontrer des personnes ayant des intérêts similaires. Il connait Epica déjà , bien avant de remplacé Ad .
