An Anexian Greeting

I totally hope I'm posting in the right place because man am I confused with the years section and the "who are you?".. (lots of sub forums)

Hey there! ^^

I hope it is ok to write in English as I noticed there is English/French around.. so I guess it's ok. I understand/read/hear French but my spoken French is barbaric and I'm really BAD at writing in French.

So I am Anex. 27 years old, American living in France. I play video games, read books, am a general nerd, taking singing lessons and sing in a local band.

Most everyone asks if I am in France for studies. The short answer is no, my husband is French. I met him via EverQuest an MMORPG that was on the level of WoW back in early 2000.

Some of my favorite bands are Amberian Dawn, Tarja, Nightwish (Tarja- era), Adrana, Whyzdom and others (those are the big ones). I like to listen to bands like Epica, Xandria (now with Manuela), and anything with a nice vocalist and some good metal. I'm a sucker for a pretty voice.

I play video games a lot, primarily on the xbox 360. I also LOVE rock Band and the Rock Band Network because of all the metal available there (I'm the Amberian Dawn fan who got them to put their music in the game). I make videos of me playing the game and post them on youtube on occasion.

Anyway always looking to discover new music and support bands I like, so I happened to find this place via your current vote (for which I was sad to not see Adrana on the list :/), but there were 2 others on there I had the option to vote for at least. Hope my message is readable and if you guys need help with English translations let me know..

As for shows/bands seen live, I've seen a few (got some nice pictures too)

Nightwish x1 Colmar 2008 (and never again thank you.. it was awful)

No worries I understand (for the English) My French is funny If you write in French I will understand, I just reply in English because it is easier for me.
